While figuring out my journey as a songwriter, I had a conversation with my mom about the reason why I write. I told her that I believed my ability to write is a gift given from God, so that His love for His people could be on display through melody and lyric. My dream is to be the type of writer who helps others understand their worth in the eyes of the Father. The world has put misconstrued filters on what "true love" looks like, and by partnering with the Holy Spirit, I plan to clear that up.

These four songs have been written over the past three months and they each have their own unique style. A good friend of mine once told me that music could not be put in a box. Meaning, we label artists and their works based on what we think we hear and what we have heard before. By accepting these labels as our identity, we do an injustice to our God as our Creator because we stay within the boundaries man has made and do not venture into a world unknown (the world of creativity). I don't want my music to sound the same. I want each song to have it's own identity, singing the story it was designed to sing.

This EP is all over the place! It's happy, it's sad, it goes on crazy adventures, it's revelatory, and very cheesy. But most importantly... it's honest. I hope what you hear connects to your heart the way it does to mine. This music is a part of me, so please treat it with care!

The beauty of this website is that you can listen to the music for free! Woo!! If you'd like to download the music so you have it on the go, feel free to do so, but that might cost you a bit. :) Surely you can find some quarters in your couch or stacked up in the cupholder in your car! The money that is made from this project will fund my mission trip to Israel in the spring of 2017. I believe that this EP will make more than enough money to provide for myself, so I will take any residual money and donate it into the trip so that others may have the funds necessary to go. The EP is at least $4, but you are allowed to pay whatever price that you believe the music is worth to you.
